Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and clean environment for residents in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures.
  • Work under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure efficient and effective floor maintenance.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
  • Operate steam-cleaning and shampoo equipment on carpeting.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff and demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude.
Requirements
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Previous floor care experience, including buffing machine operation.
