Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Safe and Effective Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in Ongoing Education and Training: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a Positive Work Environment: Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication to ensure the success of our ICU Float Unit.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: One year minimum experience in pediatric and/or women's hospital preferred.
