EMT Trainee

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for aspiring EMTs to join our team at HealthPartners Medical Transportation (HPMT). Due to recent expansion of services, we have several exciting new positions available.

The EMT Trainee position will provide you with on-the-job training and education to complete your EMT certification with the Minnesota Emergency Services Regulatory Board.

As an EMT Trainee, you will play a critical role in providing transportation services on our medical transportation vehicles while training to become a certified EMT.

No experience is required for this position. If not already enrolled in an EMT program, department-sponsored training will be provided over the course of a few months to help you become EMT certified.

If already enrolled in a program, tuition reimbursement will be provided to help cover costs of training program upon completion.

• Education: Accepted and/or enrolled into an EMT Training program or enrollment in a department-sponsored EMT training course within 6 months of hire.
• Must remain enrolled as a student in an EMT training program and progress towards graduation as a certified EMT or awaiting MN EMSRB certification upon completion.
• Experience: None required
• Licensure/Certification: Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
