As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will initiate, develop, and execute patient care strategies in compliance with state regulations and aligned with Concentra's medical protocols and policies.


Key Responsibilities:
Administers prescribed medications and treatments adhering to established nursing techniques and protocols.

Monitors and assesses patient conditions, documenting responses to medications, treatments, and significant occurrences.

Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care.

Conducts physical assessments and preventive health measures within the guidelines provided by supervising physicians.

May oversee nursing care provided by nursing staff.

Prescribes or suggests medications or alternative treatments such as physical therapy or related therapeutic procedures.

Coordinates referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services while collaborating with other specialists regarding patient care and treatment plans.

Collects blood samples and prepares necessary documentation for laboratory processing.

Conducts urine drug screenings, ensuring proper chain of custody and preparation for laboratory transport.

Assists in maintaining medical records by safeguarding the confidentiality of patient health information.

Dispenses medications as directed by the supervising practitioner in accordance with state regulations.

Maintains and operates all clinical equipment, ensuring calibration and record-keeping comply with current policies and procedures.

Performs ancillary testing and tasks as directed by the Center Medical Director (e.g., PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws) in accordance with established protocols.

Delivers exceptional customer service to all patients, clients, and colleagues while embodying Concentra's core values.

Strives to exceed patient and customer expectations as measured by relevant performance metrics.

Ensures accuracy in completing tasks such as drug screenings, DOTs, bandaging, and performing quality assurance checks.

Guarantees precise, timely, and comprehensive documentation of results and paperwork.

Provides a compassionate and welcoming patient experience, regardless of patient volume.

Demonstrates effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related health field from an accredited institution.

Master's degree in nursing or a related health field from an accredited institution.

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Current licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of employment, adhering to state practice laws.

Must maintain licensure throughout employment.

Job-Related Experience:

Typically requires at least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings.
