Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist Level II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will be responsible for the acquisition, installation, calibration, repair, and maintenance of medical imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on specifications for purchases of new medical imaging equipment and recommend replacement of obsolete or irreparable equipment.
  • Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare for installation and deployment of medical imaging equipment and systems.
  • Perform or coordinate assembly and installation of medical equipment, including electrical, mechanical, gas, pneumatics, software, networking, and integration to data/information retention systems.
  • Analyze and correct malfunctions on a variety of medical equipment systems.
  • Perform investigative evaluation of medical equipment involved in patient and employee incidents/accidents.
  • Provide training and assign work orders to third-party service vendors and student trainees.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment and CRES certification OR minimum four (4) years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment.
  • AAS degree in biomedical equipment service technology, electronic service technology, or computer service technology from an accredited program or military biomedical equipment training.
  • Proficient knowledge in the operation and maintenance of medical imaging systems.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficient use of test equipment used in servicing medical imaging systems.
