Job Summary:

As a Laboratory Technologist Generalist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will play a vital role in the laboratory team, working under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to perform laboratory tests and accurately report results to physicians for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of diseases. You will also assist in the general operation of the laboratory, quality assurance programs, and maintenance of laboratory equipment. This position requires independent judgment, professional education, and National certification (AMT or ASCP). After satisfactory completion of probation, you will be a general supervisor for waived, moderate, and high complexity testing. You will adhere to the Mission and Values of HexaQuEST Health, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and accurately report results to physicians.
  • Assist in the general operation of the laboratory.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment.

Requirements:
  • Independent judgment.
  • Professional education.
  • National certification (AMT or ASCP).

Working Conditions:
  • Varied shifts, including overnights.
  • Must be currently active in the state.
  • 1 year of experience required.
