About Us:Dependable Staffing Agency CA is a trusted provider of healthcare professionals dedicated to ensuring high-quality staffing solutions for our clients.
We are currently seeking experienced Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) to provide services for the Department of Corrections.
Qualification Requirements:- Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years performing services similar in scope in a public or private institution
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of California with a valid Physician license issued by the Medical Board/Osteopathic Board of California
- Proficiency in the English language for effective communication with Department of Corrections staff
- Maintain current certifications, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and active credentialing status
- Provide high-quality telemedicine services within the scope of practice for Primary Care Physician services, following facility policies and procedures
- Ensure basic computer competency for remote teleconferencing equipment use
- Adhere to established medical staff by-laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Comply with universal infection control precautions
- Obtain prior authorization for treatment and transportation/transfers as required by law and department policies
- Do not perform experimental or investigational treatments without prior authorization
- Adhere to clinical reviews and formulary guidelines provided by the department
