Position Summary: This full-time position is based in the Anaheim, CA area and focuses on overseeing various mechanical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management within the mechanical engineering sector.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $66,560 to $90,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct project estimating, including take-off and analysis.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring efficient manpower allocation.
  • Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage contractor-submitted data.
  • Prepare comprehensive submittal packages for project review.
  • Assist in the preparation of project progress billings.
  • Engage in technical analysis and troubleshooting of HVAC and plumbing systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates should ideally hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience as a Construction Project Engineer.

  • Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing design principles.
  • Understanding of commercial and industrial construction processes.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating practices.
  • Experience with HVAC testing procedures.
  • Proficiency in ASHRAE data and guidelines.
  • Competence in MS Project, MS Access, and MS Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing technical documentation.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in project administration, scheduling, cost control, and procurement of materials and equipment.
