We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at MUSC Health & Medical University of SC. The successful candidate will work under the direction of experienced Radiation Therapists and Medical Physicists to deliver high-quality radiation therapy to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Administer ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from Radiation Oncologists.
- Pre-treatment preparation of all cases, including Daily Treatment, CT Simulation, Clinical Simulation, and Emergency Simulation.
- Accurate delivery of prescribed planned courses of radiation.
- Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy program and registry eligible with ARRT.
- Certification from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) is required after ARRT certification is obtained.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
