The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is in search of board-certified or board-eligible physiatrists with a focus on inpatient rehabilitation and consultative services. This faculty role will manage our comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation service line, catering to patients with complex medical histories, including those recovering from heart, lung, liver, and kidney transplants, as well as individuals facing challenges such as limb amputations or prolonged hospitalizations.
In addition to overseeing inpatient care, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our acute hospital consultative services at multiple facilities. Both inpatient and consultative services are integral components of our residency training, providing the opportunity to mentor medical students and residents.
Our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department is recognized as the leading program in Columbus and ranks 33rd nationally according to U.S. News & World Report. Furthermore, the Ohio State Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital has been acknowledged as the top facility in Ohio by Newsweek, and our residency program holds the 20th position in Doximity Residency Navigator.
Qualifications:- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited PM&R Residency Program
- Board Certification or Eligibility in PM&R
- Eligibility for an Ohio Medical License
