Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Safety Team Member to ensure the security and satisfaction of external and internal customers at the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting regular facility checks, following safety procedures, directing traffic, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet all patrons and provide information regarding events, shows, and facilities
  • Challenge unauthorized personnel in restricted areas
  • File written reports of incidents on shift
  • Take appropriate actions in emergency situations
  • Follow and enforce established safety and security protocols
  • Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers, clients, and employees
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience as a Security Guard or similar position preferred
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to physically perform duties required
  • Capable of oral and written communication skills
Benefits
  • Hourly wage: $18.58
  • 401(k) savings plan with matching
  • Accrued paid leave: one hour per 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours per year
