Job Title: Mobile Therapist

Elwyn is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Therapist to join our team. As a Mobile Therapist, you will provide intensive therapeutic services to children and their families in the home, school, and other community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement resiliency plans for children and families, including assessing strengths and therapeutic needs, and providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Provide child-centered, family-focused, individual, and family psychotherapy, using a strengths-based approach, and in collaboration with the family and other involved professionals.
  • Respond to crisis situations using agency-trained protocols and techniques, and make referrals to community services as needed.
  • Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) to complete progress notes and authorization of services for every corresponding service provided.
  • Ensure compliance with the Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) principles and principles of cultural competency during all interactions with the child and family.
Requirements:
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, or social worker.
  • OR a behavior specialist with a graduate degree requiring a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • OR an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based services, CASSP principles, and principles of cultural competency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, and to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities.
  • Ability to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques using agency-trained protocols.
  • Possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated basic experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record.
  • Bilingual (written and oral) skills in the predominate secondary language in the region as identified by Community Behavioral Health (CBH) funding source preferred.
