We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic or Tool Service Technician to join our Customer Equipment Solutions team at American Rental Association. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on customer-owned equipment, ensuring it is safe and operational.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of equipment issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
