The Edith Macy Center is a premier conference venue located in Briarcliff Manor, New York, surrounded by 405 wooded acres. With over 14,000 square feet of indoor conference space and 58 sleeping rooms, we embody a philosophy that balances living, learning, and leisure, ensuring unparalleled excellence in service.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Kitchen Steward. This part-time position operates from 2 PM to 10 PM, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Sort and dispose of trash in designated areas.
- Mop and maintain the kitchen floor.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18.00 to $19.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
- A clean, valid driver's license is required.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a culinary, hotel, kitchen, or catering environment is preferred.
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
