Metrologist

We are seeking a skilled Metrologist to join our team at Relevante, Inc. in the North Madison, IN area. As a Metrologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional inspections and measurements using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision instruments.
• Interpret and work with engineering drawings and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to ensure process capability and potential.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve measurement and inspection issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in metrology and quality control.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or physics, required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with CMM operation and programming.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in performing dimensional inspections within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and SPC techniques.
