We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utility Aide to join our team at LIFE-NWPA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our center, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our participants.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize all assigned areas of the center, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Handle and mix chemicals safely and properly, following company policies and procedures.
- Store and rotate cleaning products according to company policy.
- Lift 10-15 pound buckets of water from the floor to the sink, and collect and dispose of refuse in designated areas weighing 20-30 pounds.
- Prioritize work assignments to complete tasks promptly, and act as the contact point for all service companies/contractors and delivery drivers.
- Establish mobile company email, and participate in on-going Quality Initiative training as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- One year of experience working with the frail and elderly population, or willingness to participate in appropriate training as needed.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- $1.00 raise after 90 days of employment.
