About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, planning, and administering medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability in our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical abilities and limitations
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to achieve patient goals
  • Conduct physical therapy sessions to improve patient mobility, strength, and function
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Assist patients in learning to live within their capabilities and achieve maximum performance
Requirements
  • Graduate of the American Physical Therapy Association training program
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or D.P.T or equivalent education/experience
  • Certification in one specialty: Cardiopulmonary, Clinical Electrophysiologic, Geriatric, Neurologic, Orthopedic, Pediatric, Sports Medicine, California Children Services (CCS) paneled or Wound Specialist (CWS)
  • Environmental Orientation within 30 days of hire
  • California Physical Therapist License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility, outpatient, and/or sub-acute care setting
