Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging modalities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results, taking into account patient comfort and safety
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New York State
  • Certification in radiologic technology, such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in radiologic technology, with a strong background in diagnostic imaging
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
