Job Summary:

MRI Technologists play a critical role in our diagnostic imaging department. As an MRI Technologist at OIP, you will be responsible for reviewing MRI orders and selecting the appropriate protocol to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will also ensure that proper techniques are used to obtain quality films.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI exams using specialized equipment and following established protocols
  • Clinical duties as assigned by supervising radiologists or senior technologists
  • Start IVs for contrast studies when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Review MRI safety screening sheets with patients and investigate potential MRI safety concerns related to implants
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Registration as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a healthcare facility setting, with excellent clinical skills and outstanding customer service
