Job Summary

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the assigned building(s) on the Episcopal Homes of MN campus in St. Paul. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the buildings/communities.
  • Assist with monitoring the functions of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors.
  • Assist with maintaining inventories and acquisitions of maintenance supplies.
  • Assist with assuring completion of Preventative Maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Complete assigned work orders of repairs in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Nursing Home regulations and requirements.
  • HVAC and/or other related trade licenses/certifications preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to reach overhead.
  • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
  • Be able to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $23-$26.
  • Full-time position with 40 hours/week, 8 hours per day, scheduled days may vary.
  • On-call rotation for weekends and holidays.
