Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will engage in various tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assessing energy storage technologies and advising clients on optimal solutions tailored to their specific applications.
  • Conducting marketing initiatives, project development, and proposal creation for energy storage ventures.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Formulating scopes of work, conceptual designs, and execution strategies.
  • Estimating engineering costs, man-hours, and project timelines.
  • Overseeing project management duties on energy storage consulting assignments.
  • Leading engineering efforts on multi-disciplinary energy storage construction projects.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Preparing or overseeing the development of construction documents for energy storage facility electrical systems.
  • Coordinating project design tasks and teams across various office locations.
  • Offering field engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.

Travel Requirements:
This position necessitates approximately 20% travel to client sites and project locations, with potential international travel.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably within EPC projects.
  • A Professional Engineering License (PE) is preferred.
  • Experience in energy storage design for utility-scale and/or large industrial applications, including battery technology selection, sizing, and associated systems design.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as SKM Power Tools or ETAP is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, employees are eligible for a discretionary year-end incentive bonus.
