Job Summary

The Sales Account Executive is a key role at Ziply Fiber, responsible for promoting and selling our high-speed internet and voice solutions to residential customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively support the customer experience by providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of products and services to maximize sales and effectively work assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the multi-family Account Manager team to drive sales and growth in multi-family communities.
  • Conduct proactive discovery analysis with new prospective customers to identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop and present sales presentations/proposals on products and services that meet customers' needs.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines.
  • Support team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas in high-speed data sales.
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with department practice, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay informed about competitors' activities in assigned territory and inform manager/supervisor of changing competitive pricing programs and door-to-door sales tactics.
  • Attend and successfully complete training programs.
  • Effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers.
  • Create and execute territory management plans effectively with support of manager/supervisor.
Requirements
  • 6+ months of sales and/or customer service experience – OR – current or prior military service.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Must be enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and able to handle rejection in the selling process.
  • Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner.
  • Must be able to pass local community background checks and permitting processes.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
Working Conditions

The Sales Account Executive will spend approximately 80% of their time in an outside environment for extended periods in any season, with potential exposure to inclement weather. Minimal time will be spent in an office environment.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
