Job Summary:

This role involves providing comprehensive dental care services to patients in a community-based setting, emphasizing prevention, education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on prevention, education, and early intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with community organizations and healthcare providers to promote oral health awareness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Supervise dentist extenders and profession students during clinical rotations.
  • Ensure an appropriate environment for the administration of health care by keeping all equipment and work areas clean, safe, and orderly.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree.
  • Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of South Carolina.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
  • Maintain DEA and controlled substance registration in good standing.
