Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and consulting services for Construction Materials and Special Inspection projects
  • Manage all aspects of small to medium-sized projects
  • Prepare proposals and reports for projects of varying complexity
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work
  • Work with clients and project teams to define project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completing the project
  • Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
  • Identify, develop, and gather resources to complete the project
  • Partner with other departments or offices to secure specialized resources for the project
  • Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate project status
  • Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones
  • Coordinate with review engineers to ensure appropriate oversight and sufficient time for reviews
  • Coordinate with accounting for financial management of business intelligence, invoicing, and collections
  • Participate in marketing, sales, and business development
  • Develop understanding and awareness of project-related risk and company risk policies
  • Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
  • Preferred Certification: Master's degree in Engineering
