Job Title: Cath Lab Special Procedures Technologist

Location: Banner Health facilities in Arizona

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at Banner Health. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing prescribed radiographic procedures, ensuring optimal care and treatment to our patients, and maintaining a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic diagnostic and interventional special procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and treatments to be performed.
  • Produce high-quality images and prepare and present them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
  • Demonstrate competence in performing prescribed invasive and interventional procedures, if applicable.
  • Perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by state regulatory agency, if applicable.
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, if applicable, within 18 months of hire.
