Machinist Technician

About the Role

Amsted Automotive Group is seeking a skilled machinist to join our team. As a machinist, you will be responsible for operating machine tools to precision manufacture parts and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using blue print reading mathematics and precision instruments.
• Clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling, and parts.
• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
