We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as the Chief Advancement Officer. As the key fundraiser and communicator for The Way Back Reentry, you will be responsible for driving our organization's growth and impact.

About the Role

The Chief Advancement Officer will lead our organization's fundraising efforts, developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to secure financial resources. You will also be responsible for elevating awareness of our mission and impact through strategic communication, marketing initiatives, and storytelling.

You will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to secure funding and support for our programs. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Board of Directors, staff, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with our strategic plan and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial resources.
  2. Elevate awareness of our mission and impact through communication and marketing efforts.
  3. Build and strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with our Board of Directors, staff, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with our strategic plan and mission.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, social work, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in non-profit sector, preferably social services or related fields.
  • Proven success in fundraising, donor relations, and program development.
  • Exceptional skills in communication, marketing, and relationship-building.
