Job Title: Emergency Department RN

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department RN to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. Job Summary:

The Emergency Department RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients' conditions, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, allergies, and cultural backgrounds
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using electronic medical records and other documentation tools
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
  • 1-2 years of experience in emergency department nursing
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
