Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Boston Ship Repair. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to steel repair and fabrication on marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Steel Repair and Fabrication: Perform steel repairs on marine vessels, including welding, cutting, and shaping metal components.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand repair requirements and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all repairs and fabrications meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that repairs and fabrications are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment, including welding machines, cutting torches, and other tools necessary for steel repair and fabrication.
Requirements
