About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Florida Civil Commitment Center. As a pioneer in the field of rehabilitation and forensic psychology, we are committed to providing quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for Sexually Violent Predators to assist in treatment planning.
  • Provide Annual Treatment Progress Reviews to the Courts and serve as a consultant to the multidisciplinary teams and Clinical Leadership.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and provide expert testimony, including Baker Act evaluations and court-ordered evaluations.
  • Provide supervision and training to psychology post-doctoral fellows and new employees as needed.
  • Offer competency training to individuals who have been deemed Incompetent to Proceed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an Accredited University.
  • Experience in a correctional and/or forensic environment highly desirable.
  • Ability to become licensed within one year of hire.
