Position Summary: Responsible for managing both kitchen and dining room activities, including menu planning, stock management, procurement, and staff supervision. Uphold quality benchmarks, financial accountability, and ensure team performance excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor culinary team in alignment with organizational standards
- Engage in training initiatives and enforce safety protocols
- Ensure adherence to food cost and quality expectations
- Oversee inventory management and purchasing processes
- Drive team development and growth initiatives
- Manage daily operations and special assignments
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years in culinary leadership roles
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with HACCP guidelines, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Expertise in budget oversight and financial documentation
- Proficient in coaching and training methodologies
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs
- ServSafe or Health Department certification is advantageous
