Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Weirton Medical Center. As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to emergency room patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- 3+ years of experience in emergency room nursing.
- Travel experience of one year or more.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Current RN license in West Virginia.
- ACLS, PALS, NIH, and BLS certifications.
Weirton Medical Center is a community hospital with a low traveler-to-FTE ratio. The emergency room is a level 4 trauma center with a general community population. The hospital uses the Sorian EMR system.
