About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for coordinating nursing care, ensuring efficient throughput, and providing high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure seamless transitions and quality care.
- Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create an environment of teamwork and improve outcomes.
- Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives, to enhance engagement and patient satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse required.
- 1-year Operating Room experience (Surgical Services, Surgery, Perioperative).
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification required.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support course (ALS or ACLS) with 6 months of hire.
- HCA Charge Nurse Curriculum preferred within 1 year of hire.
- National Nursing Certification in OR Nursing Leadership.
