Chief Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Inspector to join our team at AtkinsRalis. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret contract plans, specifications, and regulatory agency manuals to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify the quality of construction work, including trench excavation, pipe placement, and concrete pouring.
- Perform density and asphalt tests, and verify the certification of materials to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Review shop drawings and logs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in directing the daily activities of less experienced staff to ensure efficient project execution.
- High School diploma (or equivalent) plus twelve years related experience, or an Associate's Degree in a related technical field plus ten years related experience.
- Fifteen-to-twenty years of inspector experience with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Projects.
