Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Justrite Manufacturing Company, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling Cushion-Dek mats, which involves cutting, gluing, and beveling the mats to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:
The Assembly Technician will read production schedules to determine the length and width of mats, lay out product tiles face down, and lock pieces together securely. They will also cut tabs off edges of tiles, bevel the perimeters of mats using a planer, and continuously monitor the quality of the product to ensure it meets quality standards. Additionally, the Assembly Technician will roll up mats, properly package and label them according to specifications or tags, and complete daily production reports. They will also assist in maintaining the department in accordance with good housekeeping practices and observe all safety and environmental procedures. Furthermore, the Assembly Technician will provide relief for oven staff for breaks or in the event of an absence and perform other duties as requested by supervision.

Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to read, write, and perform basic math, as well as work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions. They will also be able to read and use a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch. The Assembly Technician will be required to stand frequently and reach horizontally, and will rarely push, pull, sit, recline, crouch, squat, kneel, walk, twist, balance, climb, crawl, reach below the waist, or reach above the shoulders, lift up to 70 pounds, and carry 70 pounds. They will occasionally deal with low temperature, high temperature, and high humidity, and will frequently deal with the inside. The Assembly Technician will use utility knife, rubber mallet, planer, clothespins, tape gun, staple gun, and squirt bottles as part of their essential job functions.
