Position Overview:
This role involves the development of advanced processes for next-generation electron optics inspection systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective process control throughout the entire assembly build process and the integration of assembly within the system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with vendors to uphold best practices and ensure that incoming parts meet quality standards.
  • Enhance existing methodologies for new process development while monitoring current processes and establishing process control criteria.
  • Work closely with the team to provide coaching and contribute to improvements in quality and process flow.
  • Lead internal Process Engineering R&D projects and correlation studies between build data and tool performance data.
  • Conduct tests and monitor process performance utilizing data analytics software.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing process-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of results and contribute to written reports or presentations as necessary.
  • Foster vendor relationships to enhance incoming part quality and streamline manufacturing processes.
  • Implement process monitoring through SPC methodology and root cause analysis.

Desired Skills:
  • Strong aptitude for applying concepts from Physics, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, System Engineering, or Quality/Manufacturing to solve specific production challenges.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to analyze problems from various perspectives.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and influence others to adopt new work practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of process engineering software and systems.
  • Familiarity with characterization techniques such as SEM, ellipsometry, XPS, MS, FTIR, XRF, and elemental analysis.
  • Extensive expertise in statistical analysis tools, SPC methodology, DOE, and data analytics using statistical software.

Qualifications:
Doctorate (Academic) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or a Master's Level Degree with at least 6 years of related work experience; or a Bachelor's Level Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
