Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Echo Lake Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the general operation and safety of production equipment
  • Ensure timely start-up of production on a daily basis
  • Distribute work orders and follow up on completion of tasks
  • Create and implement a grease and preventative maintenance schedule
  • Train and mentor new and existing maintenance personnel
  • Coordinate daily service operations and communicate with management
  • Track progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify training needs
Requirements:
  • Basic math skills, including multiplication and division
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as job demands
  • Prior related experience, 3 years practical preferred
  • Ability to delegate and prioritize
Abilities Required:
  • Competent knowledge of use of power tools, hand tools, and maintenance techniques
  • Ability to accomplish heavy labor projects as needed
  • Knowledge of safe use of ladders and elevated platform devices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a work order system
  • Ability to fill out a work order form
