Arisa Health, a leading nonprofit behavioral health provider in Arkansas, offers a dynamic opportunity for a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Therapeutic Day Treatment program in Springdale.



The ideal candidate will possess experience in providing services in a Behavioral Health organization or with experience working with a community mental health or healthcare organization.



Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider, formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers. Our organization leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all, offering outpatient services, crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.



This full-time, exempt position reports to the Program Coordinator and is classified as a salaried role. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.



Responsibilities and Expectations


  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to identify mental health needs, providing individual, family conjoint, and group therapy services.
  • Accurately document, review, and maintain case records and relevant clinical information, ensuring effective data management.
  • Offer counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups, helping them understand personal problems, set goals, and develop strategies for overcoming challenges.


A key aspect of this role is the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and community resources to address diverse mental health needs and foster a supportive environment.



Requirements and Qualifications


  • A Master's degree in counseling or social work, with current licensure in Arkansas (LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW, or LCSW).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
