Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to critically ill adults, pediatrics, and neonates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans under the direction of a physician.
  • Conduct various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures in all areas of the hospital.
  • Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Participate in emergency response, airway management, and delivery of aerosolized drugs.
  • Manage ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and therapeutic monitoring.
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys and may function as Shift Leader or Team Leader.
Requirements
  • RT or RCP License in state of employment required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • RRT through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
Work Schedule and Type

TBD, Full Time, 12 Week Contract.
