The Clinical Nursing Coordinator plays a vital role in the Specialty Clinic at Altru Health, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care. As a licensed registered professional nurse, you will be responsible for developing and implementing nursing care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop daily staffing matrices through our staffing software, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Communicate staffing needs with the clinic manager and staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Identify and address significant variances in scheduling, advising the clinic manager accordingly.
- Coordinate policy development, implementation, and review, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with education and orientation of new staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience as a registered nurse.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in North Dakota or a compact state agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
Work Environment
The Clinical Nursing Coordinator will work in a fast-paced clinical setting, frequently sitting, standing, walking, stooping, reaching, twisting, handling, seeing, hearing, and lifting up to 20 pounds. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
