Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist certification in General Practice from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program.
  • One or more of the following certifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist), ARRT (Computed Tomography), or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology).
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
