Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse on the UH Surgical Telemetry floor, you will provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families. This 32-bed unit specializes in the care of post-operative patients, with common procedures including total hip and knee replacements, laminectomies, and discectomies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the nursing process to deliver effective relationship-based nursing care.
  • Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
  • Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing.
  • Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
