Job Overview
In the role of Fire Alarm Installer, you will be responsible for installing, programming, configuring, commissioning, and servicing fire alarm and suppression systems at customer sites. This includes working with Simplex, Fike, Kidde, Inergen, Sapphire, FM-200, and CO2 systems, as well as other related building system products.

Key Responsibilities
• Install and configure fire alarm and suppression systems to meet customer specifications
• Program and test systems to ensure proper operation
• Commission and service existing systems to maintain optimal performance
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and operational product manuals
• Coordinate installation activities with other trades to optimize installation time
• Attend site meetings and provide excellent customer service skills
• Complete project documentation in a timely manner
• Adhere to OSHA and SimplexGrinnell safety policies and procedures

Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Three (3) years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety systems
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
• Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and local codes
• Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying equipment up to 50-70 lbs
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
