Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and service.

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
• Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions.
• Process prescriptions, including entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers.
• Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
