This role encompasses delivering technical solutions for the implementation of Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials, ensuring that the proposed solutions are viable through coding or piloting in key modules. The candidate will demonstrate agility and innovation in addressing business challenges. This position involves engagement in multiple complex projects requiring a deep understanding of Oracle cloud architecture and familiarity with the Oracle cloud technology stack.

The responsibilities include providing professional-level technical support in the development of applications and configuring intricate workflow rules for managing Procure-To-Pay transactions, including but not limited to General Ledger Journals, Accounts Payable Invoices, Expense Reports, Fixed Assets, and Project Costing.

A solid grasp of the cross-module functionalities within the Oracle ERP Fusion tools, platforms, and services is essential.

The candidate will operate within established methodologies and apply their knowledge to resolve technical issues independently. This involves understanding the client's business challenges and leveraging cross-module ERP capabilities to devise solutions that enhance features and streamline processes, integrating advanced technology components while collaborating with system implementers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams on the integration of Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials, aligning with current enterprise capabilities and software strategies.
  • Conduct systems analysis, design, development, and configuration of workflow rules, along with application support for various software applications.
  • Identify business processes and work with stakeholders to design and configure workflow rules, overseeing implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Identify and mitigate bottlenecks in workflow processes.
  • Integrate Oracle Fusion Financials workflows with other systems as necessary.
  • Perform hands-on configuration of modules within Oracle ERP Fusion Financials.
  • Oversee the deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes.
  • Define and modify software application modules or enterprise-wide systems using disciplined development methodologies.
  • Implement integration plans and collaborate with testing teams to incorporate these plans into the integration testing process.
  • Research and recommend information technology solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of all products in the IT ecosystem to strategize the construction and integration of new systems.
  • Install, maintain, and configure infrastructure applications.
  • Review solutions to ensure they meet customer objectives and adhere to organizational guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
  • Identify potential design, quality, or operational issues and initiate corrective measures.
  • Spot opportunities to mitigate risks and enhance performance and functionality.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Applications, particularly Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials and Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Technical proficiency in creating complex workflow rules across multiple Oracle Fusion Financials modules.
  • Experience in SQL (Oracle or MS SQL).
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, JIRA, Peer Review, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and support of web applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of finance or accounting principles.
  • Technical certifications in Oracle Cloud Applications and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
