Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Frisco, TX
Duration: 3+ months with full possibility of extension
Shift: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Rotating Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Educational Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
· Preferred background in medical assisting or paramedic training
· Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in specific states)
Key Responsibilities:
· Collect high-quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
· Clearly explain procedures to patients and skillfully, safely, and accurately perform blood draws
· Confirm patient demographic details and ensure proper labeling of specimens
· Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
· Uphold a safe and professional work environment
· Exhibit leadership qualities and process excellence skills
· Safeguard confidentiality and accuracy of patient information
· Travel to various locations and cover shifts at Patient Service Centers/In-Office Phlebotomy sites with minimal notice
Job Requirements:
· Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a dynamic environment
· Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Proficient phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients
· Flexibility and availability for varying hours, including weekends and holidays
· Commitment to company policies, dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and guiding principles of excellence
· Ability to make decisions based on established protocols and exercise sound judgment
· Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record when applicable
· Competence in managing multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
· Strong customer focus with open and transparent communication skills
· Willingness to embrace and adapt to change
· Understanding of business operations
