Job Overview

At BH, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the management of all on-site operations and achieving property financial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in maximizing revenues and adhering to budgeted cost parameters.
  • Manage collections and ensure accurate posting of revenue data on management software.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to service requests and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to establish and implement operational standards and procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling and hosting resident functions, as well as showing and leasing apartments.
  • Maintain awareness of customer acceptance and satisfaction, and work to improve resident experience.
  • Perform evictions as required, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and local market conditions.
  • Compile data for special and periodic reports, and assist with training and developing on-site team members.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in property management, with a focus on customer service and revenue growth.
  • State leasing license or ability to obtain required license(s) within mandated timeframe.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and strong computer technology skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present thoughts and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and supervised team members.
  • Customer-centric focused personality, with ability to effectively supervise and motivate staff members.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with ability to work without direct supervision and under varying degrees of pressure.
