We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team of healthcare professionals at Deaconess. As a Clinical Office Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems.

Services provided by the Clinical Office Assistant will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities, and patient/family education.

The Clinical Office Assistant will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct or indirect care to patients under the supervision of a physician
  • Assist with procedures and documentation of activities
  • Provide patient/family education
  • Utilize established principles and ethical standards in providing care

Requirements:

  • Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current certification/license from one of the following: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant Clinical, Active LPN license in state of employment, Active RN license in state of employment, CPR provider certification
