Job Title: Process Chemist - Rare Disease Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Chemist to join our team in the development of rare disease treatments. As a Process Chemist, you will be responsible for overseeing drug substance development and GMP manufacturing, utilizing your expertise in synthetic organic chemistry to optimize processes for commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Resolve drug manufacturing issues through laboratory support and optimize processes for commercialization
* Partner with CMO/CRO teams to bolster lab research and experiment quality
* Write and review technical reports to fill knowledge gaps and match the clinical development phase

Requirements:

* Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry with 3+ years (PhD) or 5+ years (MS) of relevant industry experience
* Experience in advancing small molecule pharmaceuticals from initial development to late-stage
* Proficiency in organic chemistry tools (HPLC, LCMS, GC, NMR) and software (ChemDraw, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge in thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, and contributions to synthetic chemistry
* Regulatory documentation experience
