- Interpret the parts catalog accurately for parts identification
- Handle incoming calls, providing pricing and relevant information
- Verify body shop estimates to ensure correct parts ordering and pricing
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients
- Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory
- Conduct weekly inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy
- Alert the parts manager regarding out-of-stock items or urgent shop supplies
- Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders when necessary
- Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly on service repair orders
- Process payments from retail customers or secure credit approvals
- Prepare orders for daily shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in automotive parts sales is preferred
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Capable of reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals
- Proficient in performing calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
